Dr. Tippy Curry

Dr. Tippy Curry believes every child deserves to see themselves shine on the pages of a book. A passionate advocate for positivity and representation in children's literature, she writes stories that celebrate the joy, wonder, and boundless optimism of young readers.

Dr. Curry earned her Ph.D. at Howard University, following a bachelor's degree at Georgetown University and a master's degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her greatest inspiration comes from the children in her life, especially her own son and daughter, whose laughter, curiosity, and dreams spark ideas for every vibrant picture book she creates.

When she isn't writing, Dr. Curry can be found reading, traveling the world, playing guitar, dreaming up new adventures, and enjoying life with her family and their playful pup.
